Sr. RFIC Engineer (Position #102)
- Experienced engineer in the design of low power radio design. In depth knowledge in some or all of the following areas:
- High performance broadband VCOs, FRAC-N PLLs, LO generation schemes.
- Broadband RF front-ends (low noise amplifiers, mixers, RF filters ..etc.) from few MHz to few GHz.
- Analog baseband circuits (continuous-time filters, variable-gain amplifiers, bandgap bias, RSSI, etc.).
- Deep understanding of device physics and impact of technology on design (both CMOS and bipolar)
- Effective use of circuit design tools such as Spectre RF, hspice, SPICE, etc.
Sr. Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer (Position #121)
- Experienced engineer in the design of low power, low cost data-conversion/PLL systems. In depth knowledge in some or all of the following areas:
- Continuous-time or switched-cap Sigma-delta ADC designs and/or pipelined ADCs
- High performance FRAC-N PLLs
- Analog baseband circuits (continuous-time filters, variable-gain amplifiers, bandgap bias, LDOs, etc.).
- Deep understanding of device physics and impact of technology on design (both CMOS and bipolar)
- Effective use of circuit design tools such as SpectreRF, AMS, hspice, matlab, etc.
- Ability to perform and drive physical circuit layout
Director of RFIC (Position #122)
- Proven track record of developing successful RFIC products from conception to production
- In depth technical experience in receiver architectures, design and optimization
- Experience in building, managing and leading RFIC design teams
- Experience in CMOS process is required and small geometry CMOS process is highly desired
- Hands on technical manager with a good balance of management and technical experience
Sr. Test Engineer (Position #123)
Responsibilities Include:
- Characterization of communication system performance under various impairments
- Responsible for developing test plans and test procedures
- Will develop automated test setup environment
- Responsible for running automated and manual tests in lab and field.
- Will analyze & debug test results
- Will work closely with system / HW / software developers to resolve software/firmware defects
Successful candidate must have:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
- Extensive experience with lab equipment such as scope, logic analyzer, spectrum analyzer, channel simulators, noise generators.
- Experience with LabView
- Experience in setting an automated testing environment
- Experience in characterization / testing of communication systems
- Knowledge of communication theory and understanding of communication systems
- Familiarity with wireless communication standards is a plus.
- Knowledge of C/C++, Matlab, Pearl, RTL is a plus.
Sr. Test Engineer (Position #124)

Sr. Communication system Engineer (Position #125)
Responsibilities Include:
- Develop digital communication platforms including digital HW and RF circuitry.
- Lab bring-up of reference boards, performance evaluation and system debugging.
- Develop algorithms, performance simulation.
- Implement algorithms on DSP processor for a wireless communication product.
Successful candidate must have:
- Strong experience in developing HW for wireless communication systems, including RF components.
- Strong Experience in system integration & bring-up
- Experience in implementing demodulation and communication algorithms on DSPs
- Good understanding of digital communication theory and wireless systems
- MSEE in DSP or digital communication systems, with 5+ years in design & implementation of digital wireless modems
RF Hardware Engineer Lead/Manager (Position #112)
Responsibilities Include:
- Design and develop reference and evaluation boards to bring up, test and demo SiPort’s wireless IC products
- Responsibilities include all aspects of the hardware including board specifications, RF & digital board design, antenna design, fabrication/assembly, bring up, validation and customer/manufacturing support.
- Work with ASIC designers, systems engineers, SW engineers, and QA to bring up, trouble-shoot, and characterize the silicon
- Work with ODMs to produce high volume consumer’s products
- Test system performance against target specifications and product requirements
Successful candidate must have:
- Solid understanding of RF board design and tools, including antenna design, analog circuit, memory, regulators, and design for high volume manufacturing
- Taken board designs from the concept phase through design, bring-up, integration, agency compliance certification, to a successful transfer into local and offshore manufacturing
- Ability to work with high level hardware requirements to create appropriate specifications and design reviews
- Experience with highly integrated mobile products such as cellphones or PDAs is desired
- Outstanding leadership, teamwork, self-motivation and drive required
- BSEE required; MSEE preferred, plus 10 years developing board level products.
